Visit Fort Worden State Park. This is one of my absolute favorite things to do in Port Townsend, Washington. Fort Worden State Park has more than 430 acres of forest and beach right along the coast. It used to be a military base, but now you'll find 12 miles of forested hiking trails and 2 miles of walkable beaches.
